SaintWacko,

Right? This is pretty much the only thing they could announce that would interest me

Linux for Microsoft Surface devices. It is reality! (cloudblogs.microsoft.com)

I would like to share with you a very cool project that develops drivers for correct operation of Microsoft Surface devices on Linux. I myself use Surface Pro 6 with these drivers and everything works like a charm (battery life is good, cameras work, stylus, keyboard, touchscreen, screen). The developers are gods. From myself, I...

SaintWacko,

I highly recommend it! I’ve been running PopOS! On my Surface Pro 3 for years. It works perfectly, and functions extremely well with the form factor

SaintWacko,

Anyone else try to upvote in the screenshot?

SaintWacko,

I want “Lemmy tell ya” to become a thing

SaintWacko,

Ooh, print up some stickers with the disclaimer and carry them with you, OP!

SaintWacko,

I cannot recommend this game highly enough. It’s already a fantastic game, and the devs keep updating it. To put this game in perspective, I usually play city builders (RimWorld) at max speed, music of, watching a TV show on another monitor. This game is so beautiful and chill I’ve never taken it above realtime, and I can’t bring myself to turn off the music.
It’s not that it’s easy, it can be really difficult, but you see the bad things coming. You don’t suddenly get jumped by something unexpected, but things build up. And the way various random effects come together every run means that the way you play is different every time. They call it a Roguelite City Builder, and it is a fantastic combo.

SaintWacko,

The Daily Mixes from Spotify have done a great job of figuring out what I enjoy, and finding more of it from different artists

Regarding the recent Lemmy hack \*Update\*

In case you’re not aware, multiple Lemmy instances suffered hacks recently that allowed the hackers to gain admin privileges and deface the instances and/or redirect users to other sites. Luckily, midwest.social was not a victim of this from what I can tell. To mitigate any more issues I have deleted the single custom emoji...

SaintWacko,

Not sure if it’s related, but my midwest.social account had disappeared from wefwef and I had to log back in

SaintWacko,

Oh. Wow, was that bit about the JWT always there? Did I just completely gloss over it?

I'm being harassed by mosquitoes, how do i kill them all?

To my knowledge there’s no stagnant water on my property, I’ve run water through all my ptraps, and I’m careful to not leave doors open. Yet at any given time there’s at least 3 in my house. I can’t sleep, i can’t sit on the couch, i can’t exist in the fear of being sucked dry....

SaintWacko,

Yeah, that’s what I suspect is happening here

SaintWacko,

This is cool, but it’s not really a desire path

SaintWacko,

I agree! I enjoy it in the same way I enjoy the Hitchhiker’s Guide movie. Is it the same story? No. Is it still good? Absolutely

SaintWacko,

The worst was the Without Remorse movie. It wasn’t bad, bit it had almost nothing to do with the book it was supposedly based on

SaintWacko,

FTB Inferno! It’s really fun and unique being stuck in the nether, and I love how integral MineColonies is to progression

SaintWacko,

Not surprising. A good chunk of the time when I see a post I like it’s from your instance
