Haven't been outside in over 2 days, have probably been in bed over 44 hours of it. Not exactly sure what my problem is atm, but it's just kinda too hard to do anything. I'm not exactly depressed, but I've been extremely emotionally blunted since Monday. I'm not having delusional thoughts which is good.

Have had a lot of passive SI tho. I'm just so tired of being me. Tired of everything being so hard when it shouldn't always be so hard. Tired of trying to make life work, trying to get caught up, and just getting shit on. I want things to stabilize and quit fucking me, but they don't. I'm only on this planet to be a parent, but i want to be done. I don't have much enjoyment of anything. If I didn't have my kids I'd be out of here. But also I feel like being a parent has trapped me in a world that just kinda fucking sucks for me right now, and has for a while. I'm stuck because I'd fuck my kids lives if I left.

Been playing video games tho, and this is usually what I do when I need my brain shut down in a way that keeps Brain from getting me into thought trouble. I wish I could get myself to do things I enjoy and enjoy things I do. But there's mostly just emptiness. Idk.

Apropos of nothing, a little update on this pot of living pebbles that seemed popular 6-8 weeks ago. Things are moving along!
#1: Just bigger (x3).
#2: Has absorbed last year's leaves, and I got twins! they should get more symmetrical.
#3: Little monster has doubled in size, added leaves. Will probably get him his own pot and add another lithops.
#4: Pink ones are happier, and are opening up to show new baby leaves. Others bigger, maybe will split?

@acm_redfox I know the theory, but you specifically, how often do you water them at the moment ? I planted some lithops a few months ago that are ~ the same age and stage as yours, that's why I'm asking. They seem happy with water every 4 weeks or so but I wonder if I should water them more for them to grow faster.

Oh! Just remembered the dream I had.

Great strides had been made in perfecting plastic, oil and toxic waste recycling. A machine had been created! All you had to do was input whatever into a large hopper, no sorting required. Solids, liquids. The end product out the other end was stable carbon, water and trace amounts of minerals. That is to say: Turtles. Just hordes and hordes of turtles, alive and well, in every species, hurtling out of a hopper! 🐢

Environmental experts felt conflicted.
