ViscloReader,

Was about to do that on my first playthrough because I couldn’t figure out how to get it. In the haste of wanting to dive deep into Hyrule I just found it fun to not have the paraglider.

ViscloReader,

I think you meant age of empires 2 hd edition. Definitive edition is the recent title which is way harder to run (at least for me)

ViscloReader,

That’s exactly what I’m looking for ^^

ViscloReader,

Yes but I meant that they don’t just draw it using the GPU, they actually track the shadows casted from bodies to verify puzzle conditions.

While this alone can be easy to reproduce in your engine of choice, it’s the cumulation of all these small things that amazes me.

ViscloReader,

During the winter:

  • Walk 2 min to the bus
  • Wait 8 min in the bus
  • walk 7 min to work

Rest of the year: Cycle 25 min

ViscloReader,

When I say wait 8 minutes in bus its because I’m inside the bus, waiting for it to arrive near work

Looking for a pro controller/handheld option. All suggestions appreciated.

I had the 8bitduo Ultimate and I loved it, though it was a little awkward to hold at first as I was more used to the slanted handle design of an Xbox controller. Unfortunately, I think I must have left it somewhere in public leading to it being stolen, as I haven’t seen it in a few months in spite of constantly looking for it....

ViscloReader,

I have a friend who has the 8bitdo classic and the ultimate and I own the official nintendo pro controller. So I had the chance to try all 3. I might be biased because it was a big purchase for me but the official pro controller is my preferred controller out of all controllers I could try. I rank it higher than:

  • Xbox one
  • 360
  • dualshock 1 2 3 4
  • PowerA
  • 8bitdo classic (the one that looks like a NES pad)

(I tried all of the above)

Are there any genuine benefits to AI?

I can see some minor benefits - I use it for the odd bit of mundane writing and some of the image creation stuff is interesting, and I knew that a lot of people use it for coding etc - but mostly it seems to be about making more cash for corporations and stuffing the internet with bots and fake content. Am I missing something...

ViscloReader,

the cat, not the vet

Why would someone think that XD

ViscloReader,

It’ll get better overtime I heard but I had the same experience you had. No clue I’d be that bad at this.

ViscloReader,

Planetside 2. It’s really really impressive. If you liked the big onslaught matches on UT2004 it’s the same but better. Also I heard it’s comparable with bf3 & bf4 in that sense.

ViscloReader,

Did not spend anything and I’m having a lot of fun. Basically, starter stuff (weapons, vehicles, sidearms, …) Is the best stuff.

ViscloReader,

I’m rather excited, I really wonder what they can pull of with this “new” tool. Maybe the first nintendo Rogue like?

ViscloReader,

Quelle est la position des agriculteurs en colère? Se contentent-ils de cette réforme ou rejoignent-ils le mouvement écologique ?

ViscloReader,

Everyone seems scared but I would be happy that such a FOSS designed project would finally be used in mass scale.

Sure content would not be the same, but the structure of lemmy would probably encourage more discussion and problem solving rather than hate induced comments or crazy mob-like behaviour.

When I talk about structure, I talk about some feature like having a downvote, not so much advertisement, the fediverse, no(or just not so much) incentive to make money from the platform, text based posts, custom front ends, etc…
