Just be patient and improve. You can get pretty high win rate on 6-chal. My first win was with a tanky corruption warlock but I’ve done many builds since. Sniper, battlemage, assassin, monk… anything is viable.

Try jumping into 6-chal with warlock, it becomes pretty brainless once you get your build going. Drop FiMA, pharma, runes and you’re good.

Let me start this by saying I think the ring of wealth is a really fun item. When I find one in any of my runs, I immediately get excited. I’m pretty happy leaving my +2 or even +0 RoW unupgraded. It is one of the best rings in the game even without farming. Even at +0 you get tons of gold and consumables.

Thing to note RoW runs are impossible with FIMA. So just play with that.

Why won't my want give me an upgraded staff? (lemm.ee)

I have a +3 want of lightning and an unupgraded staff, and according to the wiki, I should end up with a +2 staff, but it says I’ll only get a level 1 staff. Why? I tried this on a different run, and it actually gave me an unupgraded staff, it’s not just the prompt being wrong. I’m playing the latest version of Shattered...

You can find a +1 natural in most runs, use that to upgrade your staff.

Then you get a guarranteed +1 from wandmaker, take that to the troll blacksmith and upgrade it to +2.

Then imbue for a +3 staff and SoU dump to +18.

You need RNG for higher staff. A +3 wand from wandmaker is 5% chance and you can use that with a natural wand of the same type to get a +20 staff. If you find two of the same type you get a +21 staff but that’s pretty rare.

I think a Make-X feature to make many arcane/alchemical catalysts at once would ease the pain of making many complex potions or spells in one alchemy session such as before Yog fight.

I like putting SoU into rings because they scale exponentially with upgrades. You get diminishing returns with weapons and armor.
