When it originally aired, I was always intrigued by the episodes I caught. Got around to watching it in full a few years ago and it was so satisfying.
The long story arcs and dramatic elements are really well done in the show and I love a lot of the characters. I also enjoy campy media and am nostalgic for good puppet work in live action.
Her title reign where she was barely on TV was frustrating. But she’s always been great to watch. Also pretty difficult to build up momentum for the women when they’re relegated to 1 match on every TV show. The YouTube shows (Dark/Dark Elevation) were the only places that would have multiple women’s matches. Definitely still feels like they’re an afterthought when it comes to the booking.
