Sites like that saved me thousands getting my psych degree. God bless professors like this. Also the ones who were like, “the new edition of the book you need for this semester is $500, but you can get the previous edition for $5 at this site. Here’s copies of the pages that were changed.” or “I photocopied every page you need for this semester from the book for all of you.”

From a quick Google search, I saw a guy managed to fit 7,400 dollar bills into a shoebox. $10,000 bills are no longer printed but still valid, legal currency. Assuming that’s the max. That’s $74,000,000. You could dupe the box and net $148 mil.

However, thinking bigger. Go with a shoebox full of perfect diamonds. The value could conceivably be in the billions.

Says the guy who allegedly held coke parties at the Plaza while he was hooking up with underaged teenage girls, hung out with a known human trafficker, paid hush money to multiple women to hide how much of a predator he is, and has been found guilty of raping at least one of them.

Let’s drug test them both.

In fact, I have a better idea. The debate is headed by Snoop Dogg. Both of them have to get high with him and answer his questions.

If you've done the Final Fantasy marathon did you include FF XI? Was it worth it?

I’ve been playing through all the numbered games and its been great. I could write an essay or two on any of them. In general I’m only including base games and no expansions or DLC so it wouldn’t be a huge undertaking to beat 11, but I’m trying to see if it’s worth it from others who have done the marathon....

I got my copy free when I bought my PS2 hard drive and never played it once.

I lost my best friend to that game. He got into playing it so much after high school that he basically stopped doing anything else. I’d call him to hang out and he’d ghost me to play the game instead. Eventually I gave up trying…

My friends now want me to get into FFXIV and I absolutely refuse.

Ah, the best series I had no idea what I was doing in…

That was kind of the point though I guess. Don’t know how many hours I spent in X² just flying around doing nothing until I’d make a mistake and die.

Also, your comment lead me to check out when X-Com first came out and I found out that the original creator had a totally different series with the same kind of tactical play style for the ZX Spectrum, Rebelstar. There was a release for the GBA that plays very much like original X-Com. Liking it so far.

If you like ginger beer, Bundaberg is pretty damn good if you can find it. Costco used to carry it, but I haven’t looked lately.

If you want super strong, Fever-Tree was actually too much for me. It’s a good mixer though for mules if you really want the flavor to come through.

They’ve been a shit company for over a decade at least.

I got a laptop for my wife back when we were in college. It developed a problem with the monitor where the screen would look all corrupt after using it for a little bit. My wife, while reciting the prayer of percussive maintenance, would whack it and the problem would go away for a while. So I figured the connection had come loose. No biggie, just reseat it or replace it. The warranty had expired, so I cracked it open to see what was wrong. I reseated the cables in it and it worked… for a bit. Then the problem came back. Eventually we got fed up and bought another one, same model, figuring it was a fluke… It developed the same issue. Come to find out, Asus cheaped out in the ribbon cable for the monitor and installed ones that were too short for the laptop. Looking online, there were a bunch of people complaining about the same thing.

Around the same time as I had gotten her the new laptop, I’d also bought an Asus ZenPad for her to read on. We’ll, that suddenly developed a screen issue too! Almost exactly the same as the laptops! My wife, ever eager to apply kinetic reinforcement, found that twisting the tablet a little bit also fixed the issue. I went online and, sure enough, Asus used cheap cables again! They would last just long enough for the warranty to expire before they’d detach.

I swore to myself I’ll never buy another Asus product as long as I live. If I ever have kids, I’ll disown them if they do too… Fuck these scammers.

Yeah! It’s so unfair that one person can put their heart and soul into making a game on their own, self publish, and be successful! No way anyone else could possibly do that!

I got to see them here once, with all the city light pollution coming from north of me, all I could see was a faint flickering haze. If I didn’t know what I was seeing, I would have just dismissed it. It all depends on the conditions. The pics my buddy out west sent me last night from his phone were faint, and he said he couldn’t see anything otherwise. His mom a few miles away got much more vivid colors, with visible bands. They’re out in the country though.

And of course… Now it’s sunny and beautiful, clouds are gone. Another flare fired off this morning and it looks like the storm may keep up through the weekend. Hopefully the weather holds tonight and we get a good show.
