I was just writing about how excited I am to explore the city like a tourist this week. As I hit “publish" on the post I was reminded of the other reason I'm always so excited to leave the house anymore... the constuction.

My watch says it is 104 dB in my office as I type this.

@kel I'm 1,200 miles away now so there's not much I can do there but... yeah... for the rest. When we moved in we looked into having this work done but even the electricians said not to as it really wasn't worth it.

@kel yep. That’s what they told me when we quoted it (we had a difficult time with insurance then but managed to find one so the electrician was honest enough to say don’t do it)

My old Boostcharge Pro 3-in-1 MagSafe charger died. 💀

Now looking something to replace it.

Any recommendations?

I want MagSafe setup that supports iPhone’s standby mode. And 3-in-1 because I want to keep my phone/watch/airpods charging setup neat.

@toni do not get that giant 3 in 1 Belkin from the photo. It ruined my old watch. When I looked into the issue I learned it wasn’t that unusual

@toni Gotcha. I was impressed with the design myself but wound up losing $300 on two of the damned things that failed just after the return window closed and Belkin basically told me too bad. What's worse is one completely ruined my Apple Watch too. Now we just have some official Apple chargers on some descent looking stands

I'm still a bit shy on an all-in-one now after that Belkin (at least now I can just replace 1 $30 apple cable instead of a $100+ unit) but this or Anker are two companies I would trust.

@tim Oh damn. That would drive me crazy too. For Apple so many alums are "Apple Music Addition" with extra videos tacked on and it's so infuriating.
