Not only are the numbers weird, the games within the series (more than just the main 3) came out as exclusives to a wide variety of platforms. KH has such a bizarre history.
The crux of it is that the name developed along with the expansion of the US, ie from the east coast. From that reference point, everything else was “The West”, just with varying degrees of distance.
These people are just so short sighted. Refusal to “choose” is still a choice, and the consequence for that are just as real as everything they’re so upset over.
If I remember right, that game also had bugs with knocked out enemies that made it just about impossible to get the non-lethal achievement (bosses don’t count towards it, fwiw).
The problem is the idea that blockbusters are 100% of what’s available. Find a smaller/indie theater in your area, or just find smaller movies online. Theres plenty of creativity out there. We just have to go find it.
I think that’s the intended way too, but it’s not exactly a given as other languages have different reading patterns. Japan, for instance, reads right to left, and others read vertically.
