since I want directory based browsing I can scratch most hip offerings already, and I'm left with one maintained airsonic-advanced fork (memory-guzzling java at that), or something like emby that tries to incorporate so much stuff I would be using 10% of it

good news and bad news today!

good news: my UPS setup got properly tested, verifying that network (and internet) and server remained up AND I got instant matrix and e-mail notifications of power going down and back up.

now for the bad news: just had to order a new iron (power outage root cause)

One of my Sonoff ZigBee switches stopped working, but I found it was still on the mesh under a new address: "Device":"0x0570","IEEEAddr":"0x0000000000000000" 😳

Not sure what happened there but that's not what I want to see
