@john My snark is mostly aimed at the folks who want to run macOS on the thing and complain vehemently that iPadOS is “underpowered".

The “pro" apps i use on it are not underpowered and i prefer some of them to the same apps on macOS (Shapr3D being the standout to me. Amazing on iPad. Underwhelming on macOS).

I wont ever totally replace my mac(s) with an iPad but i am very happy to have a very well specced M1 (in my case_ iPad to do 3D design/CAD on it.

The iPhone 15 Plus is (depending on configuration) more expensive than a MacBook Air.

It naturally follows that I should of course be able to run macOS on my phone.

This is the logic.

@mclaughj When I did a lot of Shapr3D the GPU and CPU on my M1 iPad Pro were very much appreciated. That app ran incredibly well and the “workflow" with pencil was amazing.

Amusingly Shapr3D running on macOS is terrible.
