Once again I'm offering to very gently tutor some adults in basic mathematics and some folk immediately get very stressed at just the idea of it.

I honestly think some maths teachers permanently ruin a lot of folk's interest in maths when they should be fostering interest in the beauty of it.

Well hunni, I'd go visit my GP, get the ball rolling for a diagnosis, but I don't know if that's an option where you are. You should also see if there's any charities or support groups near you that can offer advice. I think talking to folks with headmates might really help you x
