Actuellement en pleine session de marche d'une heure, que je fais tous les jours depuis un mois et demi.

L'expérience avec le traitement TDAH que je prends est indescriptible. Dans le sens, c'est difficile de décrire à quel point les sensations sont différentes.

Et je n'ai plus besoin de musique ?!? ⁉️

@Signez C'est bon signe ! Ça montre que c'était sûrement la bonne voie. C'est chouette de voir la différence quand on commence un nouveau traitement, c'est pas toujours évident.

@Shyle Le plus dur, c'est d'arriver à faire jouer le saxophone quand on réfléchit à voix haute, et de faire comprendre au barman ou la barmaid ce que tu signifies quand tu dis "comme d'habitude" alors que c'est la première fois que tu viens.

I'm so old, I still use the OG Celtx desktop app on Windows for writing my audio drama scenarios. Do you guys have any recommendations for something with similar features, offline edition, open-source and maybe with also an Android app too?

Les amis·es de la fiction-sonore (et du cinéma), avez-vous des recommandations pour une application pour scripter mes histoires sur Windows ? Quelque chose de similaire niveau features que Celtx, édition en local, open-source et avec une app android dédiée (le rêve). Je ne suis pas à jour sur ce qu'il se fait, alors si ça vous parle, je prends !

Hey Mastodon ! Connaissez-vous des gens qui ont fait un parcours de diagnostique TDAH adulte auprès de professionnels ?

Si oui, savez-vous comment ils ont DÉMARRÉ ce parcours ? Je suis extrêmement frustré par la qualité médiocre de l'information officielle sur le sujet.

Genre, allez, je me motive enfin à me concentrer suffisamment pour prendre rendez-vous, je dois faire… quoi ? (en d'autres termes, il est où le TDAH--Info-Service ?)

Notez que je suis à Paris, ce qui devrait un peu aider.

    @Nifflas Being able to choose from any language for voices, subtitles and UI is the most useful way to give freedom to the player from all around the world. Accessibility is always a better thing. Not talking about original vs foreign here, because it doesn't mean anything. People should just have as many choices as possible but it's also a budget question, so it is hard to blame devs for this.

    @Nifflas I mean, I don't really agree with that. It depends on the country you're in. Here in France, we have a high interest in french dubbing for example. So the French version is always on top, and I prefer that and just ticking a box that sets the original for the rest of the service/game. I'm saying this as an original language viewer too. Pushing the original version is a kinda false good idea for most of the people. As long as we can just say "I want original" and be set until we choose not to, is the best option to me. But I get that it's complicated in a country culture like yours, that's why I'm saying "it depends".

    @Nifflas Here how I understood your thread: I feel like you want the original being pre-selected as a default. That's why I'm talking about keeping viewer's language as a default, and just letting people choose original if they want to. I'm not trying to put words in your mouth, don't worry. I'm not talking about removing options either. Maybe I'm more clear then? ^^'

    @Nifflas For games, it's not implemented, would be nice on Steam or GOG, but some services like Netflix stay on original if you select it. Not all of them, though (thinking about Amazon). A popup asking about it when you first launch the service could be nice.

    Your first toot was close to an "original is better, I want original first as an option, other languages after", as some kind of elitist way. But I got that it's more of a preference and it's okay.

    I never talked about taking away the choice. I never thought of you talking about taking away the choice. That's what I'm trying to clarify but you make it look like I'm forcing you to defend a position you're not in. Chill, Nifflas. We're just talking. I'm not against you, and my words were maybe poorly chosen. I'm sorry if that's the case.

    @Nifflas You want an OPTION, I get it, I said I get it before. It also already exists somehow on some platforms too, just not the way you're ranting about, and not everywhere as it should, but it's at least something.

    I'm gonna stop now. I didn't want to annoy you or "fight" about something we both agree on in the end (not in the same way, I see that). There was no harm meant, just two people trying to understand each other on the Internet. I'm sorry about that. I'll think about it twice before sharing my opinion next time, maybe I'll be able to convey my thinking in a better way.

    So Zelda is becoming a movie, huh? I hope they don't focus too much of Link's character arc! In the best Zeldas, link is just the happiest when exploring, kicking monster butt, wearing stunning outfits, smashing pots and occasionally helping people.

    In my headcanon, he's in his element when doing it and loves every second. So if the story focuses on struggle and personal growth, it should focus on other characters for that aspect.

    @Nifflas This will be a coming-of-age movie about how Ganondorf grew up and became the villain we know taking over Hyrule. Or a hiking documentary about Hyrule and its people. Or just Zelda waiting for Link during a 4 hours length movie.

    @Nifflas Agreed. But... what about a multiverse blockbuster movie then? All Links team up! All the villains are there too! CGI all over the place in a spectacular and boring adventure full of references.

    (Yes, I'm trying to imagine how much they can wreck the franchise in a single movie.)

    Best superpower? You have a difficult programming problem. But on github, you find code that completely solves it for you

    The code resembles passages from the Bible (but with an eerie occult feel) and really shouldn't compile. But somehow, it does. Also it was written by ghosts. 👻

    I've had enough of games not running on my PC because weird incompatibilities or buggy drivers. Bought a PS5. It's just a thing. They're all the same, and should run the games the same. Sounds so simple.

    @Nifflas PC gaming requires to build a coherent machine and know how to keep it running well. I enjoy that and when technical issues happen (which is not that often), I do find my ways to troubleshoot stuff. But I understand that it can be frustrating. Consoles still have their own issues though, with less flexible options. Plus I sometimes prefer to launch a PC game instead according to my mood on the moment. I like to combine both for exclusive purpose mostly.
