On m'a envoyé un court métrage pour me demander mon avis.

Pendant que je regardai le truc, d'un coup une musique se déclenche.

Ça me paraît bizarre au début, puis je me dis : "wow ça convient super bien !"

...Et en fait c'était une page web qui tardait à se charger qui avait une zic dedans.

J'ai envie de m'excuser à tous les monteurs et musiciens qui essayent de faire des trucs harmonieux, littéralement tout marche pour moi x)

Ça a un nom ce genre de truc, c’est aussi ce qui joue pour ceux qui ont appliqué de la musique de Pink Floyd sur Le Magicien d’Oz. Notre cerveau est vraiment merveilleux quand il s’agit de trouver de la cohérence.

Bon, évidemment je ne me rappelle plus du nom de cette illusion…

Pareil ici, comme je n’utilise Gandi que pour louer mes noms de domaine leurs changements de tarification récents ne m’ont pas impacté. Je ne prévois pas de migrer pour l’instant.

Je renouvelle mes domaines manuellement donc si à un moment je trouve la facture trop gonflée il sera toujours temps de réfléchir à un changement de registrar.

We got a new Monkey Island in 2022, so that would not surprise me ;)

Now I hope we will see a come back of good ol’ real-time strategy. Not these new "MOBA" things, but real base building, resources gathering, etc. à la Age of Empires.

I will take you word for it, I have not played it yet.

Actually I only completed the first, third and four games of the series (all great in my opinion), so I would like to go through the second game (LeChuck’s Revenge) and the Tales of Monkey Island before giving a try to the new one.

Ici j’en avais marre que ça fasse du bruit, j’ai viré le ventilo du boîtier (il cliquetait, probablement un léger déséquilibre sur son axe).

Bon, maintenant ça fait quelques années que je procrastine l’achat et l’installation d’un nouveau ventilateur, et pendant ce temps il fait bien 10~20°C de trop dans ma tour. Ce qui se traduit par des ventilateurs (CPU et GPU) qui se déclenchent plus tôt… et donc plus de bruit !

Me voilà fort marri.

I’m a new user, I only started using snac a couple days ago. This is my first Fediverse/ActivityPub experience, both as an administrator and as a user, so I can not really compare it to anything else. I was actually not even considering joining the Fediverse before learning about snac, because the other servers seem so bloated…

snac is exactly the lightweight experience that was promised, and now I can not even consider interacting with the Fediverse using anything else. I’m already happy with how it comes out of the box (installed through the Debian repositories), so I have not tried customizing anything. I especially like how the default theme is minimalist enough to not get in the way of the actual content.

Low-key hate how some people equate DRM with digital.
Get your media DRM-free, you can then keep it forever. Interoperability issues are also then so rare it's virtually inexistant and usually there's conversion methods.
And in the case of ebooks, they are also more accessible than a paper book (and much cheaper to ship and keep).
