America's nonreligious are a growing, diverse phenomenon. They really don't like organized religion (apnews.com)

Mike Dulak grew up Catholic in Southern California, but by his teen years, he began skipping Mass and driving straight to the shore to play guitar, watch the waves and enjoy the beauty of the morning. “And it felt more spiritual than any time I set foot in a church,” he recalled....

Mirror_I_rorrIMG,

Is calling a grill a bbq a regional thing? When I hear bbq I think of actual bbq, like ribs and/pork with bbq sauce... not a grill. If someone says come over for bbq the last thing I expect is steaks, burgers, or hotdogs. Those are grilled, and usually don't have anything to do with bbq.

Mirror_I_rorrIMG,

You make a good point, but benzos can reduce productivity, which is why a lot of us turn to pain killers. I stay far away from pain killers because they are a really bad trap thats almost impossible to get out of. But like you said, anyone using drugs to cope is also a drug addict. But pretty much all drug addicts are doing it for the same reason, to cope with their life or try to run from their pain. People don't just become drug addicts, there is usually something that pushes them into it (like the stress of their job).

Mirror_I_rorrIMG,

Bro, there's something else out there. Idk what it is but I made contact with it several years ago after practicing my own version of CE5. Idk if that gives you hope but of you focus on love and get into deep meditative state its possible to make contact with (what i believe to be) a non human intelligence. I think they are non human because of their appearance, but I could be wrong. I could be wrong about all of it, but for me it was a real experience. Don't close your mind. Its a giant ass universe and anything is possible. But I firmly believe there is a nonhuman intelligence that will gladly interact with us if we reach out to them.

Mirror_I_rorrIMG,

Im sorry for the stupid question but can someone explain the difference between lemmy and Kbin?

I just recently created a kbin account and downloaded the kbin app but see a lot about lemmy on here. Is kbin a subset of lemmy? If I want a wider variety of content would I go to lemmy or kbin?

Again, sorry for the stupid question.

Mirror_I_rorrIMG,

Ohh that makes sense. Thank you for explaining.

Mirror_I_rorrIMG,

Haha, I was going to say an exact replica of the Curiosity rover.

Mirror_I_rorrIMG,

You can tell by his slouching posture that he is dead inside

Mirror_I_rorrIMG,

This is actually good for the internet as a whole. The only people left on reddit are going to be scum. It will be like Australia when Britain used to send its worst criminals there lol. Everyone besides them is leaving reddit to make the same communities elsewhere without these types of people ruining the mood.

Reddit has become so toxic over the last couple of years, I have yet to see that level of toxicity on these other sites even with the great migration, but maybe I haven't been around long enough.
