A great move imo, he's not the defender Compher is but a GREAT possession player with untapped offensive potential. He's a better player than Newhook already.
He always tried hard, all kinds of skill. He just could not handle physicality though, and he didn't have the level of hockey smarts to be in the right place at the right time.
I hope he figures it out, I wish him well too, but getting a first and a second for a guy that regressed like he did year 2... Hell of a deal for the Avs.
