Reposting Account Banned..

The account I was using to cross post from Reddit was banned.

I wanted to set this up as a place that could be used as a replacement for Reddit in the future.
I was linking back to the original Reddit threads and kept everything the same so that Batwaffel would still receive commission.

When I first started posting, I received mass downvotes on every post that linked back to Reddit. It seemed like people were 'sorting by new' on Kbin and just downvoting everything that was linking to Reddit. When I changed how my posts were formatted the downvoting stopped.

I'm not really sure the reason my account was banned, I assume it was related to how many downvotes the account had received while still continuing to post frequently.

Regardless, I have decided to hold off on reposting from Reddit for now until I figure out a better way to approach this.

I think Kbin may not be the best platform. I can not find detailed API documentation for interfacing with their platform. If people can't develop third party tools for posting to Kbin then it would be better to seek out a different platform.
