_Real estate agent has broken into my rental twice with a group of people without giving notice. I have PTSD and this is giving me flashbacks

I was asleep and I woke and screamed in terror when 4 men walked into my upstairs bedroom without notice

I’m thankful I can rely on my half asleep self to spring to fight instead of freeze

This is the second time the real estate agent has done this. I got an email saying they would inspect on the 12th, but they never came. They instead came today on the 16th. With no warning.

The real estate agent apologized said “we knocked on the front door but no one answered so I let myself in” THEN CONTINUED TO TAKE A TOUR OF THE HOUSE WHILE I WAS HALF NAKED REPEATEDLY ASKING THEM TO LEAVE

They never gave me their name which by law they’re supposed to

I’m shaking in anger I feel violated. The first time I was awake and nearly by adrenaline rush grabbed a weapon to assault the stranger I thought had broken in. This is a violation of my basic human rights to safety and privacy

My lease is about to end and the real estate agent is forcing us out of the house, they said they need to do a rental clean and then I can reapply and move back in at a higher rate

Is this even legal?_
