Unpopular opinion? I don’t miss double special. I enjoy primaries and I’m happy they got good tuning passes lately

Double special basically meant you had to use a Trace Rifle. But traces just felt like slightly more powerful auto rifles to me, except now you had to worry about ammo.

Yeah, a couple exotic trace rifles could ramp up damage. But I find other exotics far more interesting than just “extra trace rifle damage.” Of course, there are exceptions - Ager’s, Navigator, and Ruinous are super useful.

But I also think hand canons feel great to shoot. Many exotics have great abilities (Lumina, Sunshot, Thorn) that I find much more interesting than most traces. Scouts have better range, bows are fun, etc. etc.

I guess: If you also enjoy primaries, you aren’t alone.
