@rmdes Interesting documentary. I agree the should have condemned these abuses much more forcefully and sooner. His argument that it wasn’t his role sounded pathetic. Why such revelations have had little impact is, I suspect, not because the subject is taboo, but because its followers are too invested (emotionally) in the religion to abandon it. It’s easy to argue it’s a few “bad apples”. But was the criticism of Mathieu Ricard fair? He thinks not...
