Because there is no one human race mentioned, just ethnicity. Because it was a Japanese guy doing Japanese manner things? I don't know, ask them on Reddit.
Japanese guy doing Japanese manner things is well known. They burned, looted, raped and murdered half the Pacific region. That's something everyone knows and to state it is not racist. It was uniquely Japanese, the way they did it. But similar to the Mongols, just worser.
