Many of our members actively participate in the Fellowship of NA in their local areas. We strive to always carry a clear Narcotics Anonymous message of hope and promise of freedom from active addiction. In order to not blur the life-saving message of Narcotics Anonymous we ask that threads in this magazine be about Narcotics Anonymous.

We are not interested in what or how much you used or who your connections were, what you have done in the past, how much or how little you have, but only in what you want to do about your problem and how we can help. We also make no distinction between drugs regarding their legal status (prescription vs. street) or their method of obtainment (doctor or pusher/dealer).

Our First Step gives us one focus: our addiction. The wording of which takes the focus of our powerlessness off the symptom and places it squarely on the disease itself. This has nothing to do with "drug of choice." NA's First Step applies regardless of drug of choice and length of clean time.

If drug-specific sharing is what you desire, we suggest you look in another community, perhaps the one named after the drug you are asking about.

Rules

1. No Harassment

Be nice or be else.

2. No Trolling

This isn't the forum for asking questions unrelated to Narcotics Anonymous such as, "How do I get my cat to stop playing with tinfoil" or "What does fentanyl powder withdrawals feel like". We don't share about experiences with other Fellowships either, or try to start arguments about what method of recovery is "best/worst". We consider any of this nonsense to be "Trolling Behavior".

No short stories, autobiographies, poems, or "drugologues". There are other places that may be better suited for this type of thread.

We ask that you do not give suggestions that direct people to specific outside enterprises. We limit our discussions here to our experience with Narcotics Anonymous. We make this request in order to provide an atmosphere of recovery, where we can hear the simple, life-saving message of Narcotics Anonymous.

7. No Solicitation

No advertisements or any posts regarding commercial interests. No solicitation of information or opinions on outside enterprises. No surveys originating from outside enterprises. Narcotics Anonymous has no affiliation with any other organizations.

8. No Breaking of Anonymity

This should be self-explanatory.

9. No Photos or Videos

NA is an anonymous program. Let's respect that here.

10. No Friends and Family / Advice for Third Parties

We know how difficult it is to have family members that suffer from the disease of addiction. However, we are not able to help family and friends of addicts who may have a drug problem. If you think someone in your family may have a problem, please direct them here and we will be happy to answer any questions they might have. Thank you for your understanding.

11. No Medical or Detox Advice

We cannot give medical advice. Period. We also have no opinion on ways to detox, or DRT's/MAT's, or Harm Reduction treatment methods.

This is a place where people discuss recovery through the 12 steps of NA. It is also a place where people who have no experience with the program ask questions. We do not allow debates that devolve into warring camps as they are unproductive and carry a message of disunity.
