Great Tusk Tera Raid Build

I decided to do a topical build since the Great Tusk raid is active at the time of writing this.

Great Tusk is a solid Ground Type raid mon, it would be at the top of Ground Tera mons if not for the living embodiment of raid soloer Ursaluna.

With a solid max HP of 434, Great Tusk can survive quite a bit of damage while setting up for big damage.

252 HP IVs (434 Max HP)
252 Atk IVs (397 Mav HP)
6 Def IVs

Adamant Nature
Ability: Protosynthesis

Item: Shell Bell

Moves
Sunny Day
Earthquake
Headlong Rush
Bulk Up

Now some might ask why I have a shell bell instead of a booster energy and the answer is simple, since Great Tusk has access to Sunny Day it can activate its ability and still have the item slot open. This way since Great Tusk does not have any innate healing this allows it to survive longer.

My recommend move order is Bulk Up x3 -> Sunny Day -> Earthquake -> Bulk Up x2 again if your stats are reduced again -> Earthquake (until tera is up) -> Headlong Rush to finish the fight.

Don't use Sunny Day and then bulk up since that is a waste of Sunny Day turns while you set up. Bulk Up as high as you feel comfortable and then Sunny Day to achieve maximum damage with Earthquake or Headlong Rush.
