Ethel Smyth's "Song of Love" written in 1888 has finally been premiered! When Leah Broad's amazing book "Quartet" was published, which in part deals with Ethel Smyth's biography (100% recommended read btw!!), it had yet to be played.

This is such a beautiful piece of music and it has finally been performed after 137 years!!!
