Unmanned KAMAZ vehicles are out for tests

Unmanned KAMAZ trucks took to the highway M-11 "Neva". Autonomous mainline trucks have been driven along the federal route within the framework of SPIEF-2023.

In the first stage four #KAMAZ54901 unmanned trucks will take part in the trials and will transport cargo between logistic terminals of Moscow and St. Petersburg.

PEC, Global Truck and Gazpromneft-Snabzheniye are taking part in the pilot project of autonomous truck transportation. While driving on the federal highway unmanned KAMAZ trucks will be assisted by the "smart road" digital services developed by Avtodor specialists.

The "Unmanned Logistics Corridors" project provides for the possibility of autonomous freight transportation using vehicles of other manufacturers.

At present, SberAvtoTech's unmanned trucks have been certified by the NAMI.
