If you purchase used musical instruments, you can usually sell them years later with very little devaluation! Same thing applies for lots of watersports gear and Legos!
Try to get into these types of hobbies, they’re financially responsible 😁
I basically use discord for notifications about projects I sort of care about, but am not focused on anymore, and for private communications between friends, there is no in between
Meanwhile, I have hundreds of youtube subscriptions and Discord servers I haven’t interacted with in years. I do occasionally return to see what’s what.
