Yeah I think it’s a fair move to seize the assets of those who are rich now but made their money by causing the climate crisis. Normally we would need to prove, that they knowingly did that, but in this special case I don’t care. They’re not being punished any other way anyways, they can always get a job.
Sorry, btw. Just after I wrote the answer I saw that I had necro’ed the post. I’m not yet familiar with Lemmy and didn’t see it had been posted 2 years ago. Just saw it on ‘hot’ sorting and assumed it was recent.
Don’t worry about it. I actually like it when people engage with old posts, it happens fairly often since the algorithm is kinda messed up here and there ^^
