Going to have to watch Dateline to find out. If I had to guess, Ernie definitely started getting into conspiracy theories, violent coup attempt, and at least one attempted murder someone.
Ji-Young fell into drug use and infidelity when Ernie became obsessive about conspiracy theories. I wouldn’t be surprised if she tried to kill Ernie.
