This B12 fan is still hoping to crack open the PAC, purely as a form of self-preservation. Love the west coast bros, but I don't want to be wondering where my Frogs stand in the next round of "Super-2" expansion.
I hate it, but at the same time don't want VT to be left out. Based on what little I know it seems like VT and UVA are going to be a package deal, so hopefully that's enticing enough if and when the time comes.
Not sure what your state government would do, but I could easily see you each going your separate ways to B1G and SEC. A lot of schools talk about being sleeping giants, but VaTech actually is one. Big school, big state, football focused, traditional alumni base. Just need to win a few more games.

It's funny (depressingly) looking back at how everyone was saying it was a slam dunk hire when paired with Bud Foster. I was super pumped for the future, especially after taking Clemson to the wire in the ACC championship game in his first year.
Iowa fan here. I'm actually looking forward to see how USC/UCLA do in the B1G and how Texas/Oklahoma do in the SEC. Not really looking forward to any new, forced "rivalries". It's been about 10 years but I still don't really feel like Nebraska is one of our rivals.
FSU fan here hoping to join the SEC ASAP. With the GoR and all who knows. But that's what I want. More money and better recruiting would mean we could be an A tier SEC team just below S tier.
As a Gator (married to a Frog and living in Texas for almost 20 years), I know I should tell you to rot in the ACC, but it would be actively nice to convert the rivalry into a conference game, and the ACC blowing up while the B12 is in a good spot would be very helpful for the Frogs’ stability, so welcome aboard!
