transponderings,

Just signed this petition asking ‘the NHS’ (which hopefully means all four UK health services) to offer brightly coloured hearing aids to d/Deaf and hearing-impaired adults: https://www.change.org/p/audiology-services-nhs-bright-coloured-hearing-aids-for-all-adults-on-nhs

Given that children are offered colourful hearing aids, why do the NHS only offer adults a choice of ugly skin-toned plastic devices?

After waiting a couple of years for a follow-up appointment with an audiologist to try a hearing aid (or two) for my tinnitus, I thought I’d see what sort of things are available – and I wasn’t impressed 😕

When those of us who have impaired vision can choose from a huge range of glasses to suit our personal style, why is there no similar range of choice for hearing aids? 🤷🏻‍♀️
