World Guide Ch.9 - Naka a.k.a. Hien

This is the first World Guide chapter on one of the retainers I am now posting. Maizuru’s chapter would technically have been before Hien, but it mentions some stuff that’s going to happen within the next few episodes, so can’t post it yet.

However, the comic here again mentions the obsession that Shuro’s father has with Maizuru, that Shuro’s World Guide chapter also did.

It’s not described negatively, but Maizuru also doesn’t quite show a positive attitude for “that idiot” in the comic of Shuro’s chapter. Hien as well, even if she does have feelings for Shuro, is clearly prepared for a possibility in her life that as retainer, property of Shuro, she wouldn’t be allowed to have a choice in.

You’ll also notice that the retainer all have “real” names. The names they go by are ones given to them by the Nakamotos. They are not allowed to keep their birth names.
