maybe some day people will eventually wake up to the reality that corporate capitalism optimizes the efficient creation of profit, not the efficient creation of quality or quantity of products. in fact producing products or anything of quality is actively inconvenient to the profit motive- which is why you see subscriptions everywhere now.
