OC What are your iOSBeta 17 observations so far?

I’ve got an iPhone 13 Pro, a 2018 iPad Pro and an Apple Watch 8 on the betas.

The iPad basically has no beta issues.

The 13 Pro just won’t generate my personal voice (the feature where your device clones your voice). I’ve been trying to figure out why.

You have to plug your iPhone in to create your personal voice but what I’m reading from other people’s experiences is that once your device reaches 100% charge, the voice cloning software acts as if your device is no longer charging.

My Apple Watch 8 disconnects from the internet randomly. It will claim it can’t reach Siri when it does this and won’t sync my activity data to my iPhone. My iPhone can see the watch in the watch app but otherwise can’t connect to it.

iOS’s autocomplete is wonderful btw.

Is the current beta stable enough to run on a daily driver?

I’m currently using it. It’s stable enough for me. The only issue I find annoying is that the keyboard sometimes disappears when you need it. Other than that it’s ok. Battery is good. Not great though.

I’ve got a dedicated dev iPhone but I’ve been using it as a daily driver. I can get a whole day out of an iPhone pro 13

My notifications don’t always sound on my phone. I have to restart the phone to get notifications operating properly again. So far the only real annoying bug I’ve found.

I love the new control center on my apple watch, the animations are so much better

@Avalanched I’m loving the widgets in the control center but is the battery icon just gone? I can’t tell what percentage of battery I have without asking Siri. That’s particularly a problem since my watch often thinks it can’t access the internet.

Is your battery life also terrible, I didn't really use my watch the last 2 hours and the battery has already drained with 33 precent.

@Avalanched my battery life is actually great but keep in mind my battery can’t access the internet 50% of the time so why wouldn’t the battery be great? The watch is basically in pseudo-airplane mode
