This was a series of concept art with stats and some world building published nearly 50 years ago. The illustrations are marvelous and each ship comes with an interesting story, who made it, tonnage, crew complement… grade A stuff.
Those are the bomb. As a kid I spent hours looking through those books, imagining myself in dogfights, exploring ruins, piloting huge ships… As an adult I found a second hand copy of S2k-2k1 and started doing it again.
