It amazes me how many people dismiss Thomas Dolby as a "one-hit wonder". "The Golden Age of Wireless" was just the beginning.

Yeah. While a lot of people only associate him with "She Blinded Me With Science", while I do like that song, there are multiple songs of his I like more.

And people have heard more that he's worked on then they realize, too. He worked on several movies soundtracks, including "Howard the Duck", and "Ferngully: The Last Rainforest". The song "Howard the Duck" had three names credited as writers, but his was one of them. And in Ferngully, he's credited as writing "Life Is a Magic Thing", "Batty Rap", and "Toxic Love". And I've listened to the last two of those a million times...
