Very new to mushroom ID, but iNaturalist said it was Chicken of the Woods! Didn’t try to eat it, but it was cool to find something potentially edible! I later spotted a ton more on fallen trees farther off trail.
I found it a couple if times and eaten it once. Didn’t taste much to me, the texture was interesting but it gave me a stomachache even after boiling it for 10+ minutes and pan frying it.
