Finding neutral(ish) sources of news

I wanted to find the right article to start this magazine. I wanted to avoid something political—particularly about American politics—just to set the tone. I was going to search out something interesting and positive that occurred in the world. But that felt a little forced. Instead, I'll post a few links to articles which discuss sources of news that are neutral(ish).
