Pastor Arrested on Sex Abuse Charges

A Huntington pastor was arrested Thursday on charges he sexually abused a teenager, Suffolk County police said.

Arrested was Clinton Bucknor, who works at the Seventh Day Adventist Church at 21 West Ninth St., Huntington.

An investigation by Special Victims Section detectives determined that he sent an inappropriate photo and text to the 15 year old and had sexual contact with the teen in the basement of the church in March.

The teen’s sister called 911 on Wednesday to report her 15-year-old sister had been sexually abused.
