[Sarcasm] I love when the result of trying to find an answer to “What is this alphabet soup” is more alphabet soup.

What is PLDI? Well, it’s a part of PACMPL and sponsored by ACM SIGPLAN and probably they like BBQ or WTF ever IDK LOL WYSIWYG DWAHMOV ELF etc. 🤷

Okay, now that I’ve snarked I feel a little better about my life.

This isn’t the right place to ask questions such as “What language should I use for X”, “what language should I learn”, and “what’s your favorite language”. Such questions should be posted in /c/learn_programming or /c/programming.
