I do clinic defense each weekend and hear arguments similar to this all the time. The typical phrase is “The baby’s body is not your body.” My new go to response is “Ok, but where is that baby’s body?”

Its true for fully grown babies, which those pictures always use. For cell clumps, for which abortions are usually legal, not.

The image seems misleading. I think in France abortion is legal until roughly the stage where the heart would start beating. On the picture above it looks like we are way past this point.

I think abortion as such a late stage is not really the focus of current tensions you have in the US?

With any other situation you can consent or not consent to someone else using your body. Somehow if a fetus is a person they get to use your body without your consent.
