in all seriousness, is there any risk of reddit getting nuked? we got any data hoarders out here trying to archive the r/ssbm and/or r/smashbros subreddits?

Hmm, I would assume that is not very likely given that Reddit admins are trying to keep things open rather than shut things down. The mods making the sub private doesn’t nuke the data.
But it does make it impossible to view or search the sub for the duration of the blackout, so that is a notable downside.
