Tried to get into spooky season with a horror game but nothing was grabbing me at the moment maybe it’s just the depression rearing it’s ugly head I dunno. Tried Callisto Protocol, Signalis, Resident Evil 1 HD, Sinking City, Little Nightmares, In Sound Mind… I guess spooky just wasn’t in the cards for me this season cause I keep going back to Baldurs Gate 3, my current obsession. Though tonight I did try something new that kept my attention for several hours, Miasma Chronicles. It’s kinda like XCom but in RPG format.
It was definitely undercooked at launch, but the story was so good that it made up for all the bugs. At launch it already became one of my favorite games, and it’s been fun to replay it now in 2.0
I heard CD Projekt made a lot of promises on their marketing material. Thankfully, i didn’t watch any of the promotional material after the first 2018 trailer lol. After watching that trailer, I decided I was going to buy it no matter what. So I avoided everything I could because I didn’t want any spoilers.

Yes I loved the edgerunners anime. It was also great finding the Easter eggs for it in my 3rd playthrough. I did not see the promises projeck red made either. But I really enjoyed the story and gameplay. One of my favourite games in recent years.
I’ve been replaying cyberpunk. Even though I already really liked the game at launch, now it is a lot better and more complete. I’ll try to 100% this time around
I have been trudging a long Lego star wars the Skywalker saga. And grinding the hunt showdown achievements. As for new releases I am mostly excited for a mirage but won’t buy on Uplay. Been debating what game to focus next for completion thinking dishonored.
It’s unfortunate that the avengers fiasco ended up hurting this game. From what I’ve heard it’s a pretty good game.
And I wish the steam deck was available on my country. I wanted a portable so I ended up buying a Nintendo switch last year, but then figured out that Nintendo games are just not for me lol. I’ll have to sell it after I finish breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom since they’re the only ones i really liked.
I love the deck to be honest. Maybe someday it will become available for you. As for the game it was really good and yes the avengers thing definitely hurt the games sales at least. I’m the same way in regards to Nintendo/switch games are not my thing to play for me. There party games are solid though.
I’ll have to skip Starfield. It’s looking like a game you can spend hundreds of hours in and I don’t have much time anymore like I used to with Skyrim. But I hope it succeeds. Microsoft needs a W after taking so many Ls recently lol
In my case, I’ve been mostly playing Honkai Star Rail since the game got a new story patch. Have almost 300 tickets saved for Kafka. Other than that, I bought the dlcs for Vampire Survivors and am continuing to play zomboid with friends.
I played RE2 Remake for the first time (not playing the original RE2) and enjoyed it thoroughly - until I made it to the point where Mr. X chased me. I tried a few times and had to stop playing as it just frustrated me.
Yeah. That’s what I expected. If you take out Mr. X it kinda looks like standard RE4 gameplay which is pretty nice. But then you add him in and you’ll either get too scared or too annoyed because of his mechanic. I feel like I would be in both camps.
