How do you keep the raptors warm in these brutal wind chills? Every bird now has their own heater. Designed for use in chicken coops, the heaters are safe for use with birds. We are also feeding duck meat, which is very high in calories. Every bird is receiving larger meals than usual. Window covers were put in place in late October. Hendrix (13) and Elise (34) came indoors on Tuesday. We are ready to ride out this Arctic blast.
