I see there are equivalent wikipedia pages for British and Japanese TV for the given year including Debuts. Presumably other countries are covered I just randomly checked for those. I occasionally browse other / less known streaming platforms out of interest and sometimes find something different. Belonging to or browsing genre specific groups/subs/magazines etc can be good e.g scifi, documentaries, etc
