Não vejo nenhuma vantagem de um estado socialista usar algo tão ineficiente quanto criptomoedas comparado a só ser dono dos bancos.

Não vejo porque uma moeda “auto-regulada” seria mais democrática do que uma regulada por um estado socialista, que por definição defende os interesses do proletariado.

E eu ainda não vi nenhuma evidência de que criptomoedas podem ser estáveis e realmente usáveis como moedas.

Mas aí entra minha pergunta: porque que criptomoedas seriam melhores que dinheiro regulado por um banco central socialista ou ideias mais complexas como vale-trabalho? Qual o problema da classe trabalhadora que elas solucionam?

The USA is the leading tiktok-using country, I’ll give them that. But according to this statista page, the following three countries already double the total of USA users.

That means ByteDance stands to lose way more by divesting themselves of TikTok than losing their USA audience. Not only are they isolating themselves diplomatically and economically from the rest of the world, now they’re backing down in hubris culturally as well.

Although I really dislike the TikTok business model for obvious reasons, banning it on USA territory is going to be really nice for the whole TikTok ecosystem.

So, when poor oppressed Americans are going to start getting VPNs to escape their Great Firewall?

There’s a sort of logic to having a weak military in Mexico. Their only land neighbours are the USA, Guatemala and Belize. Neither south neighbour is a threat, and despite the USA being really inefficient there’s no way Mexico could fight toe-to-toe with them if they were directly invaded.

They also don’t have any strategic overseas rival like an imperialist power would.

So not only can you save lots of budget in the military, but it also reduces the harm that a well-funded and organised military can be to the “internal enemy”, which is usually poor, indigenous, black or otherwise marginalised people. (Usually with the cover of “combatting drug trafficking”)

Bribing the military is also part of the CIA modus operandi for interfering in Latin America. Just look at the current investigation on the Bolsonaro coup attempt and how many of the relevant generals took part in the MINUSTAH.

But I also don’t think the USA will ever be able to directly attack Mexico without gigantic repercussions to themselves. They’re better off just doing another Allende.

Besides being a fucking ugly graph where you can barely read the node labels, I also like that this one pretty much admits democrats are clustered along the other reactionaries.

They also don’t describe how they even got that clustering (or the network itself) in the first place. I think it’s safe to assume they either nicked it from the web or got an inexperienced intern to just do whatever with a Jupyter notebook.

Is it a network of “common posters”? Of links in sidebar? In cross-posts?

Data science is what happens when “programmers think they are experts in everything that deals with computers” is taken to its most extreme. This field needs a purge, for the sake of all actual statisticians.

Science is when you never show your methodology, because it came to you in a dream a linear regression.

Se rolar esse impeachment, acho que vai ser muito flopado. Tirando os doidos politizados e os doidos do whatsapp, ninguém parece nem ligar muito pra situação me Israel.

Pode até acontecer, mas não vai ter muito apoio popular, e em política interna vai continuar Alckmin e Haddad. Mas seria uma ótima oportunidade pro Lula fazer o que a Dilma não conseguiu e chamar a base e talvez até se solidificar no governo.

Que a reação da mídia burguesa seja mais um lembrete pra todos os lulistas/petistas mais esquecidos ou pra direita que nenhum desses jornais são seus (ou nossos) aliados.

Não sei o que é mais assustador, o quão rápido esses parasitas do hemisfério norte (CNN, BBC, DW) colonizaram nosso ecossistema de notícias, ou o quão indistiguíveis os nossos lambe-botas nacionais (Globo, Record, Folha) são desses invasores.

Se você quer uma experiência, busque “lula Israel” no YouTube e tente achar um resultado de qualquer cidadão brasileiro e não de uma corporação.

Antes de instalar o linux, você pode só testar ele. Quando você criar um USB bootável ele te dá a opção de instalar, ou “testar”. Coloca pra só experimentar, e tenta usar essa impressora. As vezes é um processo um pouco diferente porque não tem que instalar aqueles aplicativos doidos da HP, mas no geral é simples.

Se quiser, posta aí o modelo da impressora e distribuição que você escolheu, que a gente ajuda a usar.

Eu não postava no r/brasil justo por falta de karma, e não querer postar em outras comunidades. Minha sugestão seria poder limitar postagem de outras instâncias sem ter que completamente bloquear as instâncias.

Agora isso é uma discussão que seria melhor ter no Tracker de issus do Lemmy, não em um forum brasileiro na língua brasileira.
