Lemmy v0.19.0 is introducing some breaking changes that, if I add support for in Photon, will break compatibility with instances before v0.19.0. If I don’t add support for v0.19.0, instances with that version or higher will break. How should I proceed?...
Hi everyone, in order to change my RGB keyboard color at startup (because color is always going back to blue when I shutdown my Legion 5), I use this github app....
It was probably not a problem with the SD card reader; as I now get the error:
Controller firmware revision 2.10.00 NAND read failure: Media is in a WRITE-PROTECTED state
Even tho the SD card is not locked and the error still shows after pulling it off, the reference to the NAND make me think of a chip on the board that might be dead (but why eveything stills work then ?), might try to see if there is something in the BIOS by any chance tomorrow.
Also, It’s weird that they would group the SD Card and the NAND together…
Well… I have a few servers, that all have 2 port minimum (they actually all have 5 ethernets) (IPMI and Normal Ethernet) that’s already 10 port, plus my Desktop, plus the link nto the router, plus storage management of a JBOD (2 ports) that’s already 14 ports, and then I want to do stuff with POE Rasberry Pis (or similar) and I also have a few AP that I can now try and have fun with! I won’t use the 48 ports, but 24 ports were more expensives where I live… so, I took this one!
Monetization is stupid, uploading both on youtube and peertube is easy. User using adblock don’t generate monetization anyway. Also, there’s all the sponsors nowadays
So far, I tried Tabliss, Momentum and currently toying with Taskade. But the “unmodded” one is nice, too as it’s faster. I’m wondering if anyone here has some opinions.
I used NelliTab for years, to have a quick dial on firefox, I even helped the dev on some translation. However, I tried to minimize my setup and now use the default firefox page with just search. All the bookmarks I need to have access quickly are in the top bar.
Can anyone share if they are using PBS with remote backup storage only? I’d like to backup directly to an offsite location, so no backing up to a local drive and then syncing that to remote…...
I have a dedicated server for PVE and another one for PBS, and by linking the PBS storage on the PVE server I can backup and also restore my LXC/VM from PBS. I also have 1 local backup copy on the PVE server for my really important services (DNS, Proxy, etc…) to allow quicker restauration of these services.
There’s a growing concern that “bad-actors” are amassing troves of encrypted data, and storing it away for possible future decryption using quantum computers. Many services have put in efforts to make certain that their encryption algorithms are “quantum-safe”, so as to protect against such attacks. Has Matrix done the...
Same as you,it seemes like an awesome project, I’d love to at least here from the dev about the status, I understand if he doesn’t have time anymore, but at least an update for the community would be awesome.
