Definitely adding it to my vacation stack. The coffee one was “Coffee A Global History” by Jonathan Harris (or Morris? I can’t recall which). But it was really interesting and not very long. Short and sweet.

I recently picked up Yellowface by R.F. Kuang, because the premise sounded interesting (and the publisher sent me a free copy). It was frustrating and addictive in the best way, but there was a heavy dose of Mary-Sue syndrome that irked me throughout the novel. I did enjoy the outright villainy of it though. It’s been a while since I rooted for a protagonist to trip and fall off a steep cliff.
