I’m not sure why they thought major freeway/road works AND buses replace trains at the same time was a good idea! Last week was stuck on a bus standing room only hurtling down the monash at 100kmh. This morning I drove to a station that has trains running and was stuck between tradies and SUVs hurtling down the monash at 120kmh. Terrifying in the little sedan. Cant win for losing.

Hope the counsellor helps, either way though, from someone who has had 2 marriages end before 40, leaving is sometimes the best option for everyone and life gets to be great again given time. Relationships are absolutely worth fighting for but its definitely not a failure to walk away

Bit of a shitty weekend. I don’t really have anyone to talk to about this, so I guess you guys are it. I don’t really wanna got into specifics, cause it may not happen and i don’t want this to be identifiable. So I started looking at apartments over the weekend. Somethings happened and I’m just not sure this is sustainable. To the point where a small 2 bed unit and 50/50 custody is starting to look appealing.
We’ve got couples therapy booked for end of next month (something I’ve been requesting for a while now). Will see if they can help us figure some stuff out.

This kids gonna drive me insane and if he doesn’t the wife will. I said a 4pm nap was a bad idea, lo and behold who was right? 8pm and he won’t go to sleep. He’s gonna be up till 10pm again I can tell. And im a bad dad if I don’t do my part in helping fix a totally avoidable situation of my wife’s own creation.

ABSOLUTELY! people think your intense. And its hard to explain to someone “No, I just feel more strongly about you than you probs do about me”. Still stings when they kind of prove that though hey.
Curious to see if this is a “me” thing or not. so does anyone else when they make a new mate become like low key obsessed for a bit? or not obsessed but like, the social anxiety just dial up a couple of notches? just for like the first couple of days of the proper mateship. Then it always settles down. Like every time your phone buzzes your like “Oh, I hope its X person”. and when they take a bit to reply you go “Oh, did I message them too many times? did I say something weird?” when you know they’re probs just busy.
