Kyllä ja ei. Ainoa asia millä IPA:n teossa on kunnolla merkitystä on humaloinnilla, mikä ei ole se monimutkaisin vaihe oluen teossa. Jos tosi hyvän IPA:n haluaa tehdä niin pitää kyllä olla edelleen todella hyvä makujen balanssi, mutta ei-huonon saa helpommin aikaiseksi kuin esimerkiksi peruslagerin tapauksessa imo.
