Two years ago, I invested in the IKEA Fyrtur smart blinds and they’re terrific. Easy to install, minimal and modern, and they work with HomeKit (and Google/Alexa). Compared to other smart blinds, they were fairly inexpensive to get into all of the bedrooms and other key areas of our home. They’re also battery-powered, which was a potential concern, but I’ve only had to charge them 3 times in the past 2 years. [1/7]
@Luke I've always felt vegan leather is good for the animals, I feel like the environmental part is hard to calculate. Depends on the ratio of cows used for leather vs. cows eaten. My guess is the leather value is less than the eaten value, so from a purely environmental standpoint my guess would be that vegan leather is worse for the environment. Note I didn't do the research ;)
@webkit Good morning. I've been trying to create the ability to edit CSS in Safari inspector & have it map/save directly to my local files. Have browsed https://webkit.org/web-inspector/local-overrides/ & am not having any luck. This was a very common strategy while I worked in that Chrome thing years ago, but it doesn't seem straightforward here.
(Trying to have CSS live update while i type. No IDE except the old Espresso/CSSEdit seem to do this anymore, and I miss it.)

my desktop pictures (wallpapers) folder has been collecting items for about 30 years. This has lead to me never using it anymore because most of the stuff in there is unsuitable on modern displays.
I took the time today to move everything under 4k into an archive and it felt pretty good!
