Wait, DPD isn't going to arrest student protestors again on Auraria not because it's 1st Amendment protected speech, but because of a pissing match and optics?
"Chief Thomas also blamed campus leadership for dropping the ball in the aftermath of mass arrests during a sweep on April 26 when tents were not cleaned up from the encampment, allowing demonstrators to quickly rebuild."
Definitely better, but none of my tools slide between the door skin and the glass to reach the other window adjusters.
While working on this I discovered that my little rolly stool's seat is breaking away from the shaft. (That's what she said.)
Star Wars Day is also Comic Book Day? Getting down my tiny collection to see what I have so I don’t double buy almost covered me in dust bunnies. Also, as I wear a star wars shirt of some sort about once a week, I decided I should put on a star trek red shirt, but I don’t own one. I guess The Expanse will have to do. #maythe4thbewithyou#starwarsday#TheExpanse
What could possible go wrong? "AI Therapy: How Chatbots Are Transforming Mental Healthcare" https://builtin.com/articles/ai-therapy
near the MIDDLE of the article. "Generative AI Is Prone to Give False or Harmful Guidance" I don't think that's the kind of transformation you want.
Open source raspberry pi based sprinkler controller is running. I still have to print a housing to mount it. Right now, it's hanging from the cable running out to the solenoids in our under stair closet. No AI, no cloud service selling my data. It's wonderful so far.
The '80s controller with chiclet keys that stopped working may have just needed new AA batteries but I ask, why if this thing gets 24VAC, couldn't it have been powered by that? The batteries I had in there were from back when ToysRus still existed, but I needed an excuse to replace this and while this is a slim excuse, an excuse it is.
The middle position of the kitchen faucet lever didn’t turn it off. One had to hunt to turn it fully off. The only place that had a 1-5/16” socket in stock was the Napa warehouse in Commerce City. I also managed to drop the old cartridge and it exploded, thus revealing the failure. Where there should have been a plastic ring around the base of the lever, some of it had turned to white gooey mush. The movement of the ceramic plate against the metal base was interesting. They glide like on ice.
In addition to avoiding all but two rain drops while grilling burgers tonight, I also made an amazing salad. Mixed greens, spinach, tomato, blueberries, walnuts in pieces and micro-planed (looked like grated parmesan), and red onion. With a honey mustard vinaigrette. Sorry, no pictures, it was too yummy to stop for photos.
